My name is Donna. I am a pastor, a pastor's wife, a mom, a grandma, a great-grandma, a reader, and an internationally award-winning writer. My story is a simple one. I grew up rough, but miraculously Jesus saw me through. In 2010 I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer was rare and aggressive, and I was given 3 to 6 months to live. It's odd, the things that go through your mind when doctors tell you that you are going to die. I knew there were things I was meant to do, things that I should have accomplished with the gifts God gave me, but life had gotten in the way. I always wanted to write, so now, with treatments that left me little time to do anything else, I began to put the stories in my head down on paper. Once I started, I knew this was what I was meant to do, write to give God glory. Now, I get to share with readers, the words He has put on my heart. I have the best job in the world. God has since healed me of cancer and many other things as well, so I will continue to write until the Lord stops giving me new stories. Every one of my books is a page-turner and has won multiple awards through Speak Up Talk Radio's International Firebird Book Awards, so that gives me continued hope that they are both well-received and interesting to read. I hope you enjoy my offerings, and may you be blessed in the reading.
